3. Self-Titled - Avenged Sevenfold

Slightly ashamed to say, I'd never heard of Avenged Sevenfold until Almost Easy was released. I caught the single on TV one night and was blown away. I've been a huge fan ever since and, even though I probably prefer their 2nd album, Waking The Fallen, I owe it to their self-titled. This album was an experimental one for A7X and it shows in almost every song. Of course, I had no idea at the time that it was experimental and so just thought they were crazy but awesome. It's their strangest, most schizophrenic album but it holds up, fitting in between their earlier screamo stuff and their current metal.
